Steam power is the silent power source, enlivening any stationary or mobile model.

However in a boat the delight of steam excels, both in its quietness and the plume as the vessel steams across the lake.

Our steam engine comes with several options.

The complete and ready to run boiler and single engine.

Additionally, boiler only and a kit of machined parts to assemble the engine unit are available.

The Steam Engine Plant(SE/P) and Boiler(SE/B) are unique in design, featuring a hinged boiler for easy replacement of the burner tablets and water refilling.

The boiler can produce enough steam to power two cylinders for up to 15 minutes running time between refills and comes with a safety valve and operating instructions.

The Steam Engine Kit (SE/E) is a revolutionary idea on a standard theme.

This kit of machined parts is ready for assembly, they can be grouped together in multiple units to increase power.

Single units are ideal for smaller vessels like 'Plucky the Tug' and 'Anglian Trawler' whilst the large model, like M.V. Oshibbe, benefits from a twin cylinder set.
