A lovely model of the famous American clipper “Albatros”, built in the Baltimore shipyards. She was typical of the fast efficient small ships produced by the Americans at that time.

A plank on frame construction, the kit contains:- Building plans with general details, English instructions, walnut or lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, rigging cord and silk flags. All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy.

Scale: 1:40 Length 700mm

You may also require Super Glue Slow (ref. code HSG/20S or HSG/50S) and Debonder (AD48).

8151 - Bends metal or wood strip materials. Comes with 3 sets of jaws for square, curved or bent formation.

 8150 - Bends strip materials over the roller faces. Great for internal bends. Different roller faces to enable you to choose the degree of bend required.

8155 - Cutting and parring tool. Also holds the keel section of the hull for easier handling during construction.
