Trotamares Kit (HPS/753)
The “Trotamares” was built in Spain in 1958 and was later restored and transformed from a fishing boat to a luxury cruiser. She is now chartered out of Monte Carlo dockyard.
A plank on frame construction, the kit contains:- Building plans with general details, English instructions, walnut or lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, etched brass details, rigging cord and silk flag. All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy.
Scale of 1:43 Length 800mm
This fine decorative model, whilst not initially designed to sail, with care and modification, by opening up the internal bulkheads, could readily be made to take running gear and radio control.
You may also require Super Glue Slow (ref. code HSG/20S or HSG/50S) and Debonder (AD48).
8151 - Bends metal or wood strip materials. Comes with 3 sets of jaws for square, curved or bent formation.
8150 - Bends strip materials over the roller faces. Great for internal bends. Different roller faces to enable you to choose the degree of bend required.
8155 - Cutting and parring tool. Also holds the keel section of the hull for easier handling during construction.
