Trumpeter USS Arizona 1:200 Scale Plastic Kit Limited Edition
The USS Arizona was laid down on 16 March 1914 at the New York Navy Yard. It was launched on the 19th June 1915, sponsored by Miss Esther Ross and commissioned at her builder's yard on 17 October 1916. Capt. John D. McDonald was in command.
Arizona was a Pennsylvania-class battleship of the United States Navy. The vessel was the third to be named in honour of the 48th state, though the first since its statehood was actually achieved.
The USS Arizona is best known for her cataclysmic and dramatic sinking, with the loss of 1,177 lives, during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941, the event that brought about U.S. involvement in World War II.
Starter Paint Pack Includes:
8 x 17ml Vallejo model paints. Vallejo paints are supplied in plastic bottles of 17ml with an eyedropper device which keeps paint from drying and prevents spills. The model color range has been specifically developed for adherence on difficult surfaces such as metal and plastic, but the product is not toxic, not flammable, and does not give off noxious fumes. The paint packs offered are only our suggestion and may not match directly with the instructions found within the kit.
